Selecon’s popular Acclaim Fresnel is a general purpose stage lens luminaire. The adjustable beam angle range of 6º to 60º and wide range of available lamps make it the perfect choice for theatre, small studio, school hall and drama suites, and display lighting applications.
The soft-edged Fresnel beam is the one required most often when lighting the stage blending seamlessly together with adjacent beams for even area illumination with no need for the addition of frost filters to soften hard edges or to smooth out irregularities or hot spots.

Saturated stage colour washes and dramatic highlighting capabilities are the result of combining a high quality, industry standard 150mm / 6″ lens with engineering excellence.Lens luminaires are the simplest and most versatile fixtures with which to creatively light your stage. The Rama Fresnel’s adjustable cone of light (7º to 50º) has a soft edge with little light scatter, easily blended with adjacent beams to provide even illumination for general stage lighting applications, side, top and back light angles. A soft-edged beam is the one required most often when lighting the stage – no need for frost filters to soften hard edges or to smooth out irregularities/hot spots in the beam. Shape the light by masking parts of the beam using the four-leaf barndoor accessory which mounts on the front and rotates around the axis.

The large Supprex 175mm / 7-inch glass lens delivers unmatched light output with up to 50% more illumination than conventional 150mm Fresnels and superb beam quality in the form of a crisp, white light from an easy to use, versatile stage lighting tool. The Arena High Performance Fresnel uses Selecon’s 250mm / 10-inch Suppex lens which provides unmatched output and beam control for long throw applications, delivering 25% more light than industry standard.
The beam quality is excellent with a well-controlled flat even field with a distinct “crisp white” tint. Useful throw distance range of 6-25m / 20-82ft. from 9° to 56°. Choice of lamp sockets G22 or GY16. Fast, easy beam control with simple ‘twist and slide’ focus screw knob. Large, cool touch rear handle aids focus positioning.
Precise positioning includes reference scale and adjustable suspension yoke.

The Arena Theatre Fresnel is a high output, general purpose stage lighting tool combining an unmatched beam angle range of 7°-60° with an equally impressive beam quality which delivers a smooth field with minimal light spill.
