What Kind of Gobo Do You Need?
The gobo type affects image quality, colour capability, and lamp compatibility. Understanding the difference before you enquire will shape the price significantly.
Black and white patterns laser-cut from 8mil stainless steel. The industry standard for theatrical and live event use. Works in any ellipsoidal with the correct size gate. Add a Lee or Rosco gel for colour.
Photos and detailed graphics laser-etched onto glass in black, white, and greyscale. Exceptional detail reproduction — ideal for logos and complex imagery where a metal cut would lose fine lines.
Apollo's premium glass gobo with full colour and gradient capability — no gel required. The most impactful option for branded events, architectural projection, and high-end theatrical production.

Which Size Do You Need?
Gobo size is determined by your fixture's gate. Tell us your make and model when enquiring and we'll confirm the right size.
Suits ETC Source Four, Selecon Pacific, Selecon Acclaim, and most full-size ellipsoidals. The standard across Australian theatre.
Smaller ellipsoidals and some older European fixtures. Confirm your fixture gate before ordering.
Compact profile fixtures, some moving heads, and select Strand fixtures. Check your fixture spec sheet.
Larger format fixtures and specific moving light applications. Available on enquiry — contact us to discuss.
